Cabin Fever
Once again the Treyhornes' bedroom action fairly scorches the pages, but this time we readers are in for more than a tale of unconventional romance. As we pass through a turning point in Marcie's life with her, the questions she asks herself seem eerily familiar. Enjoyable resolution to what really does turn out to be the second half of a two-part tale.

If Marcie Treyhorne had you on the edge of your seat in DESERT HEAT, just wait until you read CABIN FEVER!  Marcie will tantalize, thrill and excite you like never before. Don't miss reading CABIN FEVER for the shocking conclusion of Marcie's story that began in Desert Heat!

Kristie Leigh Maguire left you panting for breath in Steve and Marcie Treyhorne’s first book, Desert Heat. Now, in Cabin Fever, their story sizzles in front of the fireplace in the mountains, as they find a new "resource" for their lovemaking! And the ending is a twist that will hit you like a runaway train! You won't want to miss this one!

Desert Heat
Marcie Treyhorne has followed her husband, Steve, from city to city throughout the years they've been married. She's used to making swift adjustments to new homes, new jobs, and new bosses. But she never had a boss like Jim before! Can it be time for the Treyhornes to test their theoretically "open" marriage? Time to admit a third person, and form an intimate circle? That's just what happens, and in some respects it turns out wonderfully. But it also turns complicated, in ways none of the trio anticipated.

Kristie makes the characters come to life. If things got any hotter while I was reading the eBook, my laptop would have melted. If you love romance with an erotic flair to it, you need to read Cabin Fever along with Desert Heat. Although it may be snowing outside at your house this winter, you'll be burning up after these novels.

Emails from the Edge: The Life of an Expatriate Wife
I had to smile when I read Emails from the Edge, as it reminded me of my many years in the Marine Corps. Seldom did we stay in one place for more than two years. My smile, however, soon turned to a sad awareness as I looked back at the selfishness in my life. When reading this book, I realized the enormous problem it was for my wife who (most of the time) did all the packing and all of the hard work that I took for granted. I never once thought about the loneliness my wife felt living in a foreign country. I had my work, but she had nothing.

The relationship with the Houston housewife was nothing short of a miracle in this clever, honest, and original book. If you want to know what friendship is all about, this is a truly a delightful read. Both the good and the bad are brought out in this non-fiction story of true friendship. These two women are tough. They are true survivors. A must read book that will leave you laughing and crying.

Ms. Maguire's book is definitely a wake-up call to the many spouses of those who move to foreign countries. Military personnel and travel agents should recommend this book to all parties who intend to move their families to a foreign country.

Emails from the Edge: The Life of an Expatriate Wife
From the moment you start this story, you feel what it's like to be the wife of a traveling executive, living in foreign places, the camaraderie built within the close-knit communities of the families stationed in far-away places. You feel the adventure and the fear, but at the same time, the good-times and friendships.

Margie T…, writing as Kristie Leigh Maguire, pulls us into her life, and tells us of the world she lives in with exciting ability. When she learns she is to be stationed in Japan she's thrilled, it's another adventure in an exotic place she's always wanted to go to, but the reality of it is much different than any she's yet experienced.
We feel her fear and panic, as she's isolated with no other band of expatriates to navigate the strange world with. Trapped and most-times alone, with her husband working, she has to learn to adjust to a life in a world where she doesn't speak, read, or write the language. Where the customs are totally different from any she's yet lived in.

Then, she discovers the Internet. Reaching out through the lifeline of space, she makes contact with an old friend made in a past expat camp, one who can relate to the experiences she's living in. You feel the attachment and the desperate need for friendship that creates a stronger bond than any normal reality would, and that's just the beginning of the journey through the year spent in the land of the rising sun.

Recommendation:
This book is a must read for women of all ages. It helps you to remember the true value of friendship and come to the realization that distance is nothing but space between friends...

No Lady and Her Tramp
No Lady and Her Tramp is a hilarious unconventional book by the writing team of Kristie Leigh Maguire and Mark Haeuser. Growing up in a small southern town full of trailer parks similar to President’s Trailer Park, I can tell you this book is pretty true to life. Gossip, rednecks, fights and sex among the residents, are all part of southern small town life. The love between Beth Ann and Billy Ray is warped, but strong in its own way. If you need a little humor in your life or if you are just looking for an off-the-wall romance, then pick up No Lady and Her Tramp, the reader won’t be disappointed.

Kristie Leigh Maguire and Mark Haeuser have outdone themselves with this unique story.  I was hooked from the first page.  Even through the more serious moments, I was drawn into their vividly presented world of President Trailer Park and Grapevine, Kentucky.  There is something for everyone in NO LADY AND HER TRAMP.  It has humor, mystery, steamy moments, and an interesting cacophony of characters.

The writing talent of Kristie Leigh Maguire and Mark Haeuser has been combined to produce a very delightful and realistic novel.  The tone, style, and voice are all original and quiet wonderfully intertwined together.  What I admire most about these two wonderful authors is they were brave enough to give a realistic look at how modern day romance actually happens.  Both of these authors have opposite writing styles, but in reading NO LADY AND HER TRAMP, I was unable to pick out which author was writing each memorable scene.  This fact alone show how talented the duo is in creating a dynamic well-oiled writing team!
The ménage a trois is explosive, with hot, passionate sex and underlying emotions of guilt, love and regret. Maguire singes readers' eyes with the fire of her love scenes.  Desert Heat lives up to its name, but readers who are looking for old-fashioned morals along with blistering passion might want to give this one a miss.
